Hello everyone! I am very honored to be posting my nails here, I was very happy when Karine asked me to do a guest post! :)

The nails I have for you today had to be related to summer. I live by the sea so I went for some marine nails, I hope you'll like them!

Guest post from Lauriestrodes Fun With Nails

Hey lovelies!
I'm very happy that another of my birthday ladies is guest posting for me. Marie Luise from Lauriestrodes Fun With Nails and I come a long way. We have the same taste in multichromes and did swap a lot :) She is also celebrating her one year blog anniversary so check it out!

***

First of all I want to thank Karine for having me as a guest blogger, it's an honour.

I have a thing for duo and multi chromes, I love the way light makes a polish shift colour depending on how I twist my hand. I can spend hours looking at my nails when I wear them - not the safest type of polish if you drive a car ;)

One of the better brands when it comes to duo chromes is, in my humble opinion, nubar. The colour shift in those beauties is quite exceptional. I own two, but plan on getting more in the near future. The one I will be showcasing here is Indigo Illusion. And trust me, the name is quite fitting cause this one is hardly indigo, I even had problems with catching something indigo in my bottle shots :D

But onto the polish itself it is quite astounding in it's illusive indigo gorgeousness.

These are two layers with Cult Nails Get It On base coat and Cult Nails Wicked Fast top coat.

Guest Post: Mandy's Polish

Morning lovelies!
We go back to my favorite type of polishes, courtesy of Mandy from Mandy's Polish. We met long ago in the April Showers Bring May Flowers challenge and I got hooked by her stamping and nail art skills. Thank you Mandy!
***

Hey everyone, I am Mandy from Mandy's Polish.  I am very excited to be posting here today.  It's been super hot here, about 110 during the day and low 80's at night.  EW!!!!!  But, it has been crazy sunny and the perfect time to wear holographic nail polish :)  I ordered a few of the Brazilian Jade's when they came to Ninja Polish.  When I got them in the mail I nearly started jumping up and down.  These are beautiful polishes and they have a great formula.  The first one I tried was the teal, named Energy.  It's gorgeous and oh so holo-y in the sun, even in the shade :)  This is 2 coats with out any special base coat and Seche Vite top coat.

I hope you can get some of these holos before the summer is over to enjoy them.

Thanks for having me Karine!!!

Guest Post by PassionForPolish

Hello!
It's time for a holo day! I'm happy to introduce to you Melissa from PassionForPolish. I really love her edgy nail looks, and she was the lucky winner of my last giveway, but more I like every nice comment she has. Thank you so much Melissa for your support and taking my blog today :D

Hi everyone! I’m Melissa from PassionForPolish :) First off I have to thank Karine giving me this amazing chance to guest post for her!

As I’m sure you all know Karine has a holo polish collection that could make any nail polish lover green with envy, not to mention the amazing holo frankens she whips up with ease! With all the holo polishes Karine has been showcasing lately I decided to pull out the few measly holographic polishes I have and think up some nail art to do.

First off I used a base coat of Sally Hansen Triple Strong and then one coat of Color Club Fashion Addict.

We have the same name and we're both French-speaking ;D

To celebrate, I took my stamping plates out of my drawer and chose my favorite pattern from plate m65. Here is the result!

Guest Post by Persistently Glittery

Good morning! We are heading to a glittery day with Aimee from Persistently Glittery. No matter what she does, it has an unique and edgy look to it. Up to today she is the only blogger I know who mix glitter and stamping accent nails, which is kind of cool! Thank you Aimee!
***

Hello! Thanks to the lovely Karine for inviting me to do a guest post for her! I really love Karine's blog; the polishes she creates are amazing and she's a lovely person to boot! So I did a super special glitterbomb mani just for her using all my most favourite glitters! :) Karine wanted something to do with summer, and while this isn't related to summer in the strictest sense, we haven't had a lot of sun here this summer, and now that the sun has come out and summer has finally begun, I can't think of a better way to celebrate it than with GLITTER! :)

The pointer finger is Lynnderella - Boy Girl Party over Rimmel - Strawberry, the middle finger is Bettina - Mojito which I got in a swap with Karine herself and over the top of that is Naiade by Karine which is one of the prettiest flakies I've ever seen! A green tinted base with lots of beautiful ethereal looking glitters and larger shards. It looks like mermaid's eyes :) The fourth finger and thumb is China Glaze - White on White with Girly Bits - January Morning stamped with my favourite ever image from my Dasica SDp Big plate. Finally the little finger is Orly - Purple Pleather with Lynnderella - Sweets to the Sweet. Yum!

Guest Post by Sparkly Vernis

Hey lovelies! I am so happy to share with you the layering manicure of another talented lady, Alexandra from Sparkly Vernis. I will definitely have to try a multicolored jelly sandwich. Hope it will be as unique as hers. Thank you!
***

Hi lovelies! I am so happy to contribute to this blog today.  I love all things glitter, and Summer is great time to wear sparkly things because the sun makes them shine even more.  My blog is mostly based on layering combinations, and I normally used two or three nail polishes.  Therefore, to make it easier for the reader, I post the "Layering Order" at the bottom of the pictures.  I have chosen a nude jelly sandwich because I love the look of glitters under jellies.  The nude color reminds me of the sandy beaches, and the blue glitter reminds me of the ocean.  I want to thank Karine for inviting me to do a guest post, and I hope she comes to visit mine soon.

Guest Post from I Feel Polished - Sugar Spun Nails

Hey lovelies! Let me introduce you to the adorable Heather from I Feel Polished  who kindly accepted to do a guest post for me :) I met her in the Florida Polish Society group and got hooked to her simple, yet amazing nail art techniques. Thank you Heather!
***
Hello Everyone! My name is Heather and I run a blog called I Feel Polished! I'm so happy to be here today! When Karine asked for guest bloggers for her blog, I was really excited and a little nervous because this is my first guest post! So, please go easy on me! :)

Today I have a bright mani for you guys! When I think of summer, I immediately go to neon polishes. I love having bright color of my nails! I also love nail art and trying out new techniques, so I'm showing you guys my first attempt at the spun sugar technique. If you've never seen or done this before, I highly suggest you look for a video on YouTube. Explaining it would be very difficult but the technique itself is relatively easy. Anyways, enough of me talking, onto the pictures!

For this manicure I used China Glaze Purple Panic and Pink Voltage. I have HK Girl top coat on, which is similar to Seche Vite, but much better in my opinion! Enjoy and thanks to Karine for letting me take over her blog for a day! :)

Watermarble or Stamp?

Hello!
If you like stamping and don't know Bundle Monster, then you better head quickly to their website and browse their stamping sets. I own all of them but have a slight preference for the 3rd set because of the genius of the designs. I already posted about the shatter/crackle and gradient stamping effects, and today they make watermarble a breeze with BM 320. I hate watermarbling, I tried so many times and never got it right. No need anymore! See for yourself.
I stamped with Sally Hansen Cobalt Blue over Layla Jade Groove.

OPI - Black Spotted

Hello lovelies!
I got my hands on the precious OPI Black Spotted, thanks to a nail polish friend who sent it to me from France. As you know it was exclusively released as part of the Spiderman collection  in Sephora France. I like it better than the crackle effect. I layered one coat over China Glaze Ruby Pumps and you can notice that it's a learning curve. I have seen many girls complaining about it, it's all about the application, which is very tricky, you just need to wait for your base coat to be dry and apply a super duper really thin coat. I have also seen some complaints about Black Spotted peeling off when you apply a top coat over it. I did apply one coat of Seche Vite and didn't have any issues.

Butter London - Disco Biscuit

Hey lovelies!
Welcome a newbie to the Butter London club, thanks to a lovely lady from a swap group I'm part of, I now have Disco Biscuit on my nails and toes :) I'm no stranger to this particular polish as I have seen many online swatches, but you know, it's never the same when you see it in real lol. Disco Biscuit is a hot pink jelly with tiny blue iridescent glitter, which is just the icing on the cake. It applied nicely in 3 coats and dried fast. If in doubt, just stop by your closest Butter London retailer and take a look at the bottle :) I complimented Disco Biscuit with a cobalt blue french tip.

K's Special Fridays #20 - Pure Gold

Hey lovelies,
I'm sharing this franken with you, even though I'm not sure if I like it. I wanted a gold holo but added too much spectraflair and ended up with a washed out gold. I used OPI Glitzterland and TKB suspension base with 6-7 straw scoops of spectraflair. I will have to perfect the recipe to my taste when I have some free time. Hope you like it!

Playing with studs

Good morning!
I hadn't used my Born Pretty Store studs in a long time, so I came with this mani idea, which did not translate as I thought it would, but I still like it. On to the pics!

Spoiled - Ants In My Pants

Hello lovelies!
I have for you a wonderful polish by Spoiled. I was first attracted by the blackened base and red glitter, it really stood out in the rack. As soon as I saw the name, I had to have it. I love ants, they are fascinating insects, and my readings of author Bernard Werber, who described their life cycle in a thrilling science fiction trilogy (Empire of the Ants, The Day of The Ants, The Revolution of the Ants) didn't help lol.
I wore one coat of Ants In My Pants over China Glaze Ruby Pumps. Wow!

Polish Days - Olympic Games

Hello lovelies,
It's time for the Polish Olympics! You already know the 3rd theme of Polish Days. My manicure was inspired by different symbols recurrent to the 2012 London games. I added the sprinter on my thumb because track and field is my favorite competition to watch, and my country flag on my pinkie because today is our National day and we also have 10 athletes representing us in London. Go Cote d'Ivoire :) I hope you enjoy my mani as I do, I had it for three days straight and that's a record for me.

Ludurana Duochrome collection

Hello lovelies!
This is a quick post to resume the 10 polishes in the Ludurana duochrome collection. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with them. They are all delicate shades with pronounced shimmer when worn by themselves, but radically changes colors over black. They dried fast and are great for all tastes and occasions, I'm glad I got them. I wore two coats of each polish by itself on my index and ring fingers, and one coat over black on my pinkie and middle finger. I would advise to go with 3-4 coats if you wear it by itself. You can snag them for $7.50 each on Ninja Polish or swap with a Brazilian buddy :)
Please click on each polish name to be redirected to an individual post.

Lazy Days Of Summer #14 - BBQ Fun

Faya on my nails!
I'm sad as this is the last theme of the Lazy Days Of Summer Challenge and I love the mani I did for the BBQ fun. I love barbecues and did one as a farewell party. What's your favorite part of a barbecue? Mine is the fire, it always goes nut because everyone has its own theory on how to start a good fire or why the fire is not starting lol. I did a gradient with Sally Hansen Rapid Red, Essence Dancing In The Streets, and Sally Hansen Lightening, then free handed the flames with a fine nail art brush and Wet N Wild Ebony Hates Chris.

Lazy Days Of Summer #13 - Inspired By Something In Your House

Hello!
Today's mani is inspired by my sunglasses. It's my favorite outfit for summer, I love those shades, they are so edgy and protect me perfectly from the sun. I used OPI Bronzed To Perfection and Suzi Loves Cowboys for the cheetah style, stamped the chains with BM12, then added gold rhinestones. On to the pics!

K's Special Fridays #19 - Dusty Hunt

Hello!
Let me present to you Dusty Hunt, my favorite holo creation! I named it after my constant search for a good green holo. I wanted a good dark green, I'm so proud of it. It has so much depht, and it's opaque in two coats. I used half suspension base with Nubar Greener, a couple of drops of OPI Yoga Ta Get This Blue and black, then added 4 straw scoops of spectraflair. Let me know what you think about this one :)

Lazy Days Of Summer #12 - Summer Nights

Hello!
I remember my first summer sunset with my boyfriend three years ago. It was so beautiful and as soon as I saw today's theme, I knew I had to try to recreate it. I used the following Kleancolor Metallics: Orange, Pink, Fuchsia, Purple, Sapphire and free handed the palm trees and birds with a fine nail art brush and Wet N Wild Ebony Hates Chris. Even my boyfriend gasped at them, he was like did YOU do this? I'm so proud of it it's my best nail art so far, you can see that it was done with love lol

Lazy Days Of Summer #11 - Summer Days

Morning lovelies!
Whoa we are already in August, time flies so fast I still remember my last summer and it feels like one week ago. I love summer, it's the perfect season to showcase bright colors with style. I used different summery colors over Sally Hansen White On to achieve the patchwork design, then added a thin coat of Essence Circus Confetti. I wanted it to pop and scream fun and I'm proud of the result. Hope you like it!
