Going On Vacation!

Hello lovelies I'm going on a 2 weeks vacation trip and I will probably be in the plane when this post is published. Don't fear lack on content on the blog, I invited a plethora of amazing bloggers to keep you entertained while I'm away. I will have a series of guests posts starting tomorrow and the topic I chose is "your favorite nail art technique". I already seen what a few bloggers came up with and I know you will love it! Talking about favorite nail art technique, mine is stamping. It's so easy and the diversity of plates makes it so much fun than freehand nail art (which I suck at). J'ai déjà vu ce que quelques blogueuses ont fait et je sais que vous allez adorer! Parlant de la technique préférée de nail art , la mienne est le stamping. C'est si facile et la diversité des plaques, rend le tout plus amusant que le nail art à main levée (que je maîtrise moins). J'espère que vous apprécierez la série d' invitées et à bientôt!

Femme Fatale - Suspended Starlight

Hello ladies, Yessss, after a couple months of wait, I finally got my Femme Fatale polish! I bought it on Llarowe at the price of $13 for a 12ml bottle. Femme Fatale is an Australian brand that makes 3-free polishes. Suspended Starlight is a mix of blue and navy round and square glitter in a sheer jelly navy base. There are also holographic stars and moons which gives an amazing effect to my nails. I used one coat of Suspended Starlight over OPI Yoga Ta Get This Blue. The polish is really packed so you don't need to fish for the moons and stars. It has a thick consistency so you only need one coat for it to show well. I just love it!

Bonjour Mesdemoiselles, Ouiiiii, après quelques mois d'attente, j'ai finalement reçu mon vernis Femme Fatale! Je l'ai acheté chez Llarowe au prix de 13 $ pour une bouteille de 12ml. Femme Fatale est une marque australienne qui fait des vernis 3-free. Suspended Starlight est un mélange de glitter bleu et marine dans une base bleue. Il ya aussi des étoiles et des lunes holographiques qui donne un effet incroyable à mes ongles. J'ai utilisé une couche de Suspended Starlight sur ​​OPI Yoga Ta Get This Blue. Le vernis est vraiment rempli, de sorte que vous n'avez pas besoin de pêcher les lunes et les étoiles. Il a une consistance épaisse de sorte que vous n'avez besoin que d'une couche pour qu'il apparaisse bien. Je l'adore, tout simplement!

Holo Meets Spotted and Stamping

This is by far one of my best nail art of 2013. It's a mix of glamour and rock & roll that makes me feel like a star. Nowadays, I just pick random polishes and try to come up with a nail art. Hope you like the end result, me I'm hooked! What I used: Depend Holographic 22, China Glaze Passion, OPI Black Spotted, BM 317

China Glaze - Ride The Waves

China Glaze Ride The Waves is a royal blue jelly that I received as a gift. It's just too beautiful. It has a nice glossy finish and will make you feel in control anytime you wear it. 3 coats after, it was still not opaque (which is totally normal for a jelly) so I decided to create an edgy nail art. On to the pics! By the way, don't forget to enter my giveaway which is ending in a couple days. What I used: China Glaze Ride The Waves, China Glaze Passion, BM 209.

China Glaze Ride The Waves est un bleu royal jelly que j'ai reçu en cadeau. Il est juste trop beau. Il a une belle finition brillante et vous donne de l'assurance quand vous le portez. 3 couches après, il n'était toujours pas opaque (ce qui est tout à fait normal pour un jelly), alors j'ai décidé de créer un nail art edgy. Place aux photos! Au fait, n'oubliez pas de vous inscrire à ma tombola qui finit dans quelques jours. Ce que j'ai utilisé: China Glaze Ride The Waves, China Glaze Passion, BM 209.

Flakies Nail Art

Good morning! I initially wanted to wear a polish but ended up with nail art because I was kind of disappointed with it. I started with 2 coats of OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow. It's a great color when you look at the bottle, a dark army green creme. But it it so dark on my nails that it looks like black. I also didn't like the formula, which I found runny. Since I wasn't happy with my mani, I added 2 coats of Finger Paints Motley, a clear base with green, turquoise, and blue flakes. I finished the design with a silver liner. I just love happy endings like that. Thanks for reading!

Bonjour! Je voulais juste mettre du vernis mais j'ai finalement fait du nail art parce que j'étais un peu déçu du vernis. J'ai commencé avec 2 couches de OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow. C'est une belle couleur quand on regarde la bouteille, un vert militaire sombre. Mais il est si foncé sur mes ongles qu'on dirait du noir. En plus, je n'ai pas aimé sa consistance, le trouvant liquide et coulant. Comme je n'étais pas contente de ma manucure, j'ai ajouté 2 couches de Finger Paints Motley, une base transparente avec des flocons vert, turquoise, et bleu. J'ai terminé avec des lignes argentées. J'aime juste les fins heureuses comme ça. Merci de me lire!

Stargazer 304

Hello my dears! I have surprisingly grown into a blue polish lover, it cools me down but still has enough edginess so I won't be bored by it. The polish I have for you is Stargazer 304, one of my bday club gift. The ladies spoiled me so keep an eye for very unique polishes swatches! 304 is a turquoise to blue duochrome with gold and green shimmer in it. I really think it's too beautiful not to have a better name. The application was flawless, it is opaque in 2 coats and has an amazing finish with lot of brightness. It's a statement color, my mom noticed my nails from far. Since this polish reminds me of the ocean, I took my Konad m27 and Sally Hansen Silver Sweep to stamp little fishes. What do you think of it? Coucou mes chéries! Je me suis surprise à apprécier les vernis bleus, ça me rend calme mais ça a encore assez de cran pour ne pas m'ennuyer. Le vernis que j'ai pour vous est Stargazer 304, un de mes cadeaux du bday club. J'ai été super gâtée donc attendez vous a voir des vernis uniques! 304 est duochrome qui change du turquoise au bleu, avec des reflets or et vert. Je pense vraiment que c'est trop beau pour ne pas avoir un meilleur nom. La pose a été impeccable, le vernis est opaque en 2 couches et a une finition incroyable avec beaucoup de brillance. C'est une couleur qui se voit, ma mère a remarqué mes ongles de loin. Puisque ce vernis me rappelle de l'océan, j'ai pris mon Konad m27 et Sally Hansen Silver Sweep pour stamper les petits poissons. K's Special Fridays #22 - You Blue My Mind & Green With Envy

Wassup ladies, Today I have for you two special polishes that I created some time ago but didn't get to try until now. You Blue My Mind is a dark blue holo polish and was inspired by my boyfriend (blue is his fav color) and I made Green With Envy just because there are not enough green holos so I wanted a unique one (just as Dusty Hunt and Mojito). Hope you like it and let me know your favorite! Pictures show 2 coats of You Blue My Mind and 3 coats of Green With Envy with top coat. Thank you!

Wassup les filles, Aujourd'hui j'ai deux vernis spéciaux que j'ai créés il y a un moment, mais que je n'ai pu essayer que maintenant. You Blue My Mind est un vernis bleu foncé holographique inspiré par mon copain (sa couleur préférée est le bleu) et j'ai fait Green With Envy parce qu'il n y a pas assez de vernis holos verts donc j'en voulais un unique (tout comme Dusty Hunt et Mojito). J’espère que vous aimez et dites moi celui que vous préférez  Les photos montrent 2 couches de You Blue My Mind et 3 de Green With Envy avec top coat. Let It Snow Challenge #1 - Snowflakes

Morning! Here we are again with another nail art challenge, from the same group I have been part of since Spring. After summer, winter holidays is my favorite season because I get to celebrate Christmas and NYE with my family. Let's see my snowflake inspired mani :)

OPI - I Have A Herring Problem

Hey lovelies! How are you doing? It’s raining a lot today and I have a polish that reflect the weather. I bought OPI I Have A Herring Problem when the Holland collection came out and only got to try it now. It is a subtle blue/grey polish but has silver shimmer that sparkles. It’s opaque in 2 coats and dried fast. I really like it because it is such a unique shade.                                                                                       The following pictures are 3 coats of I Have A Herring Problem topped with Seche Vite. J'ai acheté OPI I Have A Herring Problem lors de la sortie de la collection Hollande et c’est seulement maintenant que je l'essaie. C’est un vernis bleu/gris subtil, mais avec des paillettes argentées et scintillantes. Il est opaque en 2 couches et sèche rapidement. J’adore, c'est super unique comme couleur. Les photos suivantes montrent 3 couches de I Have A Herring Problem surmonté de Seche Vite. Passez une belle journée!

Hello lovelies! I did this mani on one of my friends nails last week, and I loved it so much that I decided to copy it. You know none of my friends knew about my blog and my interest in everything nail related and it was a big mistake of me to think that they would judge my hobby. It was the contrary because they totally love it, especially the nail polish parties.

Bonjour mes beautés!                                                                                J'ai fait cette manucure sur les ongles d’une de mes amies la semaine dernière, et je l'ai tellement kiffée que j'ai décidé de le refaire pour moi. Vous savez, personne ne savait pour mon blog et mon intérêt pour tout ce qui lié aux ongles et c'était une grosse erreur de ma part de penser qu'ils jugeraient mon hobby. Au contraire mes amies adorent, en particulier les parties de vernis à ongles.

Barry M Cobalt Blue ft Cover Band Sticks N Stones

Blue lover stop here! First I'm slowing a bit on nail art to appreciate plain colors. I will try to wear them alone for a day or two before spicing them up. I have on my nails Cobalt Blue by Barry M. The formula and brush size makes it easy to apply the polish. You get full coverage in one coat but I went with two. Cobalt Blue dries quickly, it's an amazing blue creme that you can wear all year. I love it as much as Nails Inc Baker Street (my ultimate blue) This is 2 coats of Cobalt Blue without top coat. Haha I'm glad that my friend Aimee in the UK gifted it to me.

Amoureuse de bleu viens par ici! D'abord, je vais ralentir le nail art pour apprécier les couleurs unies. Je vais essayer de les porter seules pendant un jour ou deux avant de les épicer avec du nail art. J'ai sur mes ongles Cobalt Blue de Barry M. Avec la formule et la taille du pinceau, c’est facile de mettre le vernis. Vous obtenez une couverture complète en une seule couche, même si j’en ai fait deux. Cobalt Blue  sèche rapidement, c’est un bleu crème étonnant que vous pouvez porter toute l'année. Je l'aime autant que Nails Inc Baker Street (mon ultime bleu) J’ai mis 2 couches de Cobalt Blue sans top coat. Haha, je suis contente qu’Aimée mon amie en Angleterre me l’ai offert en cadeau.

Fall Into Autumn Challenge #3 - School Spirit

Hello!

I know it's been a little time but I am glad to be back with a mani inspired by the 3rd theme of the Fall Into Autumn challenge, I named "School Spirit". I am done with university but I have great memories of all the football and basketball games I went to while I was in FIU. Tee shirts, mugs, pens, folders, you name it I have it! We are the panthers and our colors are blue and gold. I went the easy route with an animal print nail art. The base is two coats of Spoiled Pirate's Booty (??) and I used Sally Hansen Co-bolt Blue with a dotting tool. Enjoy and thanks for reading!

First I want to apologize to my avid readers for my lack of posts. I have moved from the US back to my country in August and I have been soooo busy since I have been back that my blog took a hit. Watermarble or Stamp?

If you like stamping and don't know Bundle Monster, then you better head quickly to their website and browse their stamping sets. I own all of them but have a slight preference for the 3rd set because of the genius of the designs. I already posted about the shatter/crackle and gradient stamping effects, and today they make watermarble a breeze with BM 320. I hate watermarbling, I tried so many times and never got it right. No need anymore! See for yourself.
I stamped with Sally Hansen Cobalt Blue over Layla Jade Groove.

Ludurana - Violet Blue

I hope you are having a fabulous start of the day. I made plans to go to the Keys and enjoy the nice weather. and I'm wearing Violet Blue from the Ludurana duochrome collection. It's a very delicate pink with purple shimmer by itself (index and middle finger) that also turns into a fierce blue when layered over black or a dark color. Another hit in my book!

Ludurana - Turquesa Red

Hello!
I have for you another Ludurana duochrome. I'm sorry for how my ring finger looks, it had nothing to do with the formula, just me adding too much polish on the brush. Turquesa Red blew me away, I love it by itself (index and ring finger) and also over black (pinkie and middle finger). By the way when I say "duochrome" here I refer to the name of the collection. I guess what Ludurana meant by it was the double ability to get different colors with the same polish. On to the pics!

Ludurana - Orange Blue

Hey!
Ludurana duochrome goodness on the menu! This is a shade that I like more by itself than layered over black. Orange Blue is a pink champagne (if that exists lol) with blue shimmer. The kind of color I rarely go for, so I'm glad it's included in this duochrome collection. What do you think of it?
