Butter London - Sloane Ranger

I finally received the giveaway prize I won @ Liesl Loves Pretty Things. See I don't have a lot of Butter London's because I find their color collection limited but wow this one is such a unique color. I was happy to see that Sloane Ranger is a one coater with nice formula and finish. It's hard to describe: I will say a mix of concrete grey and army green. I pimped my mani with a design done with half pearls I got from Born Pretty Store. What do you think of it?

J'ai finalement reçu le prix que j'ai gagné @ Liesl Loves Pretty Things. Vous voyez, je ne possède pas beaucoup de Butter London parce que je trouve leur selection de couleurs limitée; mais wow celui-ci est vraiment unique. J'étais contente de voir que Sloane Ranger est opaque en une couche, avec une belle formule et finition. Il est difficile à décrire: je dirais un mélange de  gris béton et vert militaire. J'ai aggrémenté ma manucure avec un design fait avec des demi perles que j'ai achetées chez Born Pretty Store. Qu'en pensez-vous?

Aquamarine Nails

Hey lovelies! I have so many polishes (500+) that I can't wear them all. That's one of the reasons why I do nail art so I can use multiple polishes at the same time and not feel like I will never get through all of them. I had this beautiful aquamarine unused polish by Brazilian brand Mohda, so I paired it with Gosh Holographic (the original) for a simple nail art. Definitely a look for a sunny day at the beach, hope you like it!

Hey mes beautés! J'ai tellement de vernis (+ de 500) que je ne peux pas tous les mettre. C'est l'une des raisons pour laquelle j'aime le nail art parce que je peux utiliser plusieurs vernis en même temps et ne pas me sentir coupable de ne pas en faire usage. J'ai ce beau vernis bleu-vert de la marque brésilienne Mohda que j'ai jumelé avec Gosh Holographic (l'original) pour un nail art simple. Définitivement un look pour une journée ensoleillée à la plage, j'espère que vous appréciez!

Sally Hansen - Lightning Yellow

Hey Ladies! Sally Hansen Lightning Yellow is a polish I bought for stamping purposes and decided to wear it today. It is a super bright yellow that is suitable for people like me who dare to wear bold colors. I needed 2 coats for full opacity with an electrifying look. It dries really fast and has a thick formula. I saw people complaining about the thickness of the formula but I hate streaky and thin yellow polishes that need 4 coats to be opaque. That's why I like Lightning Yellow. In addition, the wide brush allowed me to cover my nails in 2 strokes. It is summer all year here, so I will definitely wear it more often! Hey les filles! Sally Hansen Lightning Yellow est un vernis que j'ai acheté pour faire du stamping et décidé de porter aujourd'hui. C'est un jaune super vif  qui est parfait pour les gens comme moi qui osent porter des couleurs flashy. Il m'a fallu 2 couches pour une opacité complète avec un look électrisant. Il sèche très vite et a une formule épaisse. J'ai vu des gens se plaindre de l'épaisseur de la formule, mais j'ai horreur des vernis jaunes peu épais qui ont besoin de 4 couches pour être opaque. C'est pour ça que j'aime Lightning Yellow. En plus, le pinceau large m'a permis de couvrir mes ongles en 2 temps. C'est l'été toute l'année ici, donc je vais certainement le porter plus souvent! Avez-vous ce vernis? Qu'en pensez-vous? Merci de me lire et passez un bon début de semaine.

OPI - Did It On Em (Nicki Minaj Collection)

Hello Did It On Em is not my favorite song of Nicki Minaj, and I even think OPI should have chosen Moment 4 Life as an inspirational drive for this special color. It is completely opaque in 2 coats. Add your Seche Vite and you will have a vibrant creamy chartreuse green. It is a very unique color that looks great on my skintone. And since it's summer all year on my side of the globe, I don't mind wearing it anytime I want to. What do you think of it? Thanks for reading!

Bonjour Did It On Em n'est pas ma chanson préférée de Nicki Minaj, et je pense même que OPI aurait du choisir Moment 4 Life comme inspiration pour cette couleur particulière. Elle est complètement opaque en 2 couches. Ajoutez votre Seche Vite et vous aurez un vert chartreuse crémeux et vibrant. C'est une couleur unique qui va bien avec mon teint. Tip Top Nails Review

Hello! I was greatly surprised when South African nail polish brand Tip Top Nails asked me to review some of their polishes. I said yes (of course) and received 5 polishes in the mail. I like the round shaped 10 ml bottle and the highly pigmented formula of each polish. Good news is these polishes are 4free (of Formaldehyde, Dibutylphthalate (DBP), Toluene and Camphor), opaque in two coats, and dry quickly. I'm impressed. Unfortunately there is no information on prices and shipping that I can share with you so I invite you to contact Tip Top Nails through their website, facebook, or twitter. Now on to the polish! The All-In-One! base coat helps strengthen your nails and prevent staining. Plus I like the fact that it's a nude colored base coat that I can also use alone. Grape To Meet You is a grape pink  with gold shimmer. My mom loved it so much I gave it to her :) We Have An Green-Mint is a fresh lime green that I loved the minute I saw it. It's a very bold color. Jeepers Creepers is a beautiful teal/viridian shimmer that reminds me of the ocean. Chiffon Squares, a silver polish, is my least favorite of the bunch. All swatches are 2 coats with Seche vite.

Salut! J'ai été agréablement surprise quand la marque de vernis Sud Africaine Tip Top Nails m'a demandé d'essayer certains de leurs vernis. J'ai dit oui (bien sûr) et reçu 5 vernis par la poste. J'aime la forme ronde du flacon de 10 ml et la formule très pigmentée de chaque vernis. La bonne nouvelle est que ces vernis sont 4free (du formaldéhyde, de dibutyle (DBP), toluène et camphre), opaque en deux couches et sèche rapidement. En plus, j'ai bien aimé le fait qu'il s'agit d'une base coat de couleur chair que je peux aussi utiliser seule. Grape To Meet You est un rose raisin avec des reflets or. Ma mère l'a tellement aimé que je le lui ai donné :) We Have An Green-Mint est un vert citron frais que j'ai adoré la minute où je l'ai vu. C'est une couleur osée. Jeepers Creepers est un beau turquoise / vert émeraude chatoyant qui me rappelle l'océan. Chiffon Squares, un vernis argent, est celui que je préfère le moins dans le lot.

Nails Inc - Holly Hill

Good news girls! I started a new job last week with this sexy tomato red that is Nails Inc Holly Hill. My colleagues are nice and I'm still getting used to my new environment but it's very exciting to open this new chapter of my life. OPI Java Mauve-A & Chanel Accent Nail

Hello! I hope you are having a great start of the week. Mine is starting fresh with OPI Java Mauve-A on my nails. I hesitated before buying it because it looked like  a  grandma color. To my surprise, I actually like it. It's going to be one of my favorite office polishes. It's a rich pink/peach with brown undertones that goes well with my skin tone. Application was also perfect and it's opaque in 2 coats. I spiced this manicure up with a Chanel accent nail. Enjoy!

Coucou! J'espère que vous passez un très bon début de semaine. La mienne débute fraîchement avec OPI Java Mauve-A sur mes ongles. J'ai hésité avant de l'acheter parce qu'il ressemblait à une couleur de grand-mère. À ma grande surprise, j'aime bien. Ça va être un de mes vernis préférés de bureau. C'est un rose/pêche riche avec des nuances de marron qui va bien avec mon teint. La pose a été parfaite et il est opaque en 2 couches. J'ai pimenté cette manucure avec un ongle Chanel. Appréciez!

Flakies Nail Art

Good morning! I initially wanted to wear a polish but ended up with nail art because I was kind of disappointed with it. I started with 2 coats of OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow. It's a great color when you look at the bottle, a dark army green creme. But it it so dark on my nails that it looks like black. I also didn't like the formula, which I found runny. Since I wasn't happy with my mani, I added 2 coats of Finger Paints Motley, a clear base with green, turquoise, and blue flakes. I finished the design with a silver liner. I just love happy endings like that. Thanks for reading!

Bonjour! Je voulais juste mettre du vernis mais j'ai finalement fait du nail art parce que j'étais un peu déçu du vernis. J'ai commencé avec 2 couches de OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow. C'est une belle couleur quand on regarde la bouteille, un vert militaire sombre. Mais il est si foncé sur mes ongles qu'on dirait du noir. En plus, je n'ai pas aimé sa consistance, le trouvant liquide et coulant. Comme je n'étais pas contente de ma manucure, j'ai ajouté 2 couches de Finger Paints Motley, une base transparente avec des flocons vert, turquoise, et bleu. J'ai terminé avec des lignes argentées. If I have to stamp over it or add layers of other colors, my white polish better be opaque in one coat and dry fast. Barry M Cobalt Blue ft Cover Band Sticks N Stones

Blue lover stop here! First I'm slowing a bit on nail art to appreciate plain colors. I will try to wear them alone for a day or two before spicing them up. I have on my nails Cobalt Blue by Barry M. The formula and brush size makes it easy to apply the polish. You get full coverage in one coat but I went with two. Cobalt Blue dries quickly, it's an amazing blue creme that you can wear all year. I love it as much as Nails Inc Baker Street (my ultimate blue) This is 2 coats of Cobalt Blue without top coat. Haha I'm glad that my friend Aimee in the UK gifted it to me.

Amoureuse de bleu viens par ici! D'abord, je vais ralentir le nail art pour apprécier les couleurs unies. Je vais essayer de les porter seules pendant un jour ou deux avant de les épicer avec du nail art. J'ai sur mes ongles Cobalt Blue de Barry M. Avec la formule et la taille du pinceau, c’est facile de mettre le vernis. Vous obtenez une couverture complète en une seule couche, même si j’en ai fait deux. Cobalt Blue  sèche rapidement, c’est un bleu crème étonnant que vous pouvez porter toute l'année. Je l'aime autant que Nails Inc Baker Street (mon ultime bleu) J’ai mis 2 couches de Cobalt Blue sans top coat. Haha, je suis contente qu’Aimée mon amie en Angleterre me l’ai offert en cadeau.

I finally got my hands on this beautiful royal blue creme! Nails Inc Baker Street is my first polish of the brand, and from what I have seen surely not my last. It was opaque in one coat and the formula is so easy to work with and covers the nail like butter. I rarely gets compliments with plain shades, but this one is exception to the rule. Lynnderella - Mlle Violette de Bleu

I just love the name of this polish by Lynnderella. French being my maternal language, it revives a lot of memories in me, a song in particular "Mademoiselle chante le blues". It's a lavender, blue, and holographic gem, only for glitter aficionados! I had a beautiful aquamarine blue in my untried stash and thought it would be the perfect undie for MVDB. I was surprised to find out that the polish has a smoky base, so it will darken the base you have two shades down. It's not a bad thing, I just thought the base was clear. I dabbed one coat of Mlle Violette de Bleu over Mohda Bermuda, and topped it with one coat of Gelous. Love the oceanic look!

Hits Phenomena - Afterglow

Good afternoon!
I couldn't wait to try another Hits Phenomena, so I changed my mani to wear Afterglow. I was so excited about this one! On the Hits blog, it was described as mimicking the colors of twilight, shifting from copper to purple to blue. Well it does have a wonderful color shift, but I don't know there's something I'm not a fan of. Maybe it's the base I used. I'll try it over black and see if there is any difference. For this mani, I used one coat of Afterglow over two coats of L'Apogee Evita Peron. All swatches are without top coat.

Hits Phenomena - Moonbow

Morning!
The Hits Phenomena collection of multichrome glitter released a few months ago had a huge success in a lot of nail polish groups I'm part of. I wanted them because they have a similar look to the Ozotic Elytra range, don't you think so? The Ozotics are gorgeous, but I went for the cheaper option. Today, I'm wearing Moonbow, that shifts from yellow, green, blue, to purple. I layered two coats over 5Cinco Witch, a dark teal creme. All swatches are without top coat.

K's Special Fridays #10 - Mauve There!

Hello!
I love pastels, but sometimes find them too light against my skin tone. I had an old purple pastel and wanted to darken it so I added a couple drops of Wet N Wild Black to it. I like it better this way and I think it suits me well. It's a mauve creme that I'll be rocking a lot on my toes this summer. I can't to try a gradient with it :) On to the pics!

Catrice - Sold Out For Ever

Hello!
We continue with some Catrice swatches as today I'm wearing the beautiful Sold Out For Ever. This one had bubbles when I applied it (maybe because I shook the bottle too much) but I was able to even it out in two easy coats. I love the finish of this polish. It is a pastel mint creme with green shimmer. All pictures show two coats of Sold Out For Ever without top coat.

Max Factor - Fantasy Fire

Hello!
I got this Max Factor polish a long time ago but didn't get to try it until now. I layered it over Stay Perfect Violetta, which is a purple/violet creme. Violetta is kind of sheerish after two coats, so I would advise three coats for full opacity. Fantasy fire is a purple base with red to green duochrome shimmer, this polish had a lot of success for being a close dupe to Clarins 230 and now I know why! Even though the bottle is really small, the color shift and layering versatility makes it for the quantity. On to the pictures!
