Dior & Chains Nail Art

Hello lovelies! If you ask me about my favorite luxury brand, I will tell you Christian Dior without an hesitation. I love how creative their bags collection are, and how they portrays modern women as classy but not overly boring, edgy but not risky. I wanted to portray that mix on my nails. I was so excited when I found a stamping plate that had the Dior logo and even more when I finished this nail art. I am sorry but I do not remember where I bought the plate, but it's either on BPS (born pretty store) or KKCenterHK, I looked it up and it's plate KD12 from Amazon. What do you think of the chain nails trend, is it something you would try?

J'aime la créativité de leur collections de sacs, et comment ils présentent les femmes comme modernes, chic sans tomber dans l'ennui et le risqué. Je voulais dépeindre ce mariage sur mes ongles. J'étais tellement contente quand j'ai trouvé une plaque de stamping avec le logo Dior et encore plus ravie quand j'ai fini ce nail art. Je suis désolée, mais je ne me souviens plus où j'ai acheté la plaque, mais c'est soit chez BPS (born pretty store) ou KKCenterHK, j'ai vérifié et c'est la plaque K12 de chez Amazon. Que pensez-vous de la tendance des chaines sur les ongles, êtes vous tentées de l'essayer?

Rethinking Dior Rock Coat

Last year, I wrote an article on Dior Rock Coat, the ultimate smoky top coat that is supposed to darken any color when applied on it. I liked Rock Coat, but in an effort to creatively reinvent an old manicure, I'm bringing it back. I used it to achieve a side/diagonal french manicure, and yes you can subtly stamp with it (as seen on my ring finger) Have you tried Rock Coat? What I used: Dior Rock Coat, OPI Party In My Cabana, BM 323

L'année dernière, j'ai écrit un article sur Dior Rock Coat, le nec plus ultra des top coats "effet smoky", qui est censé assombrir toute couleur lorsque appliqué sur elle. J'ai bien aimé Rock Coat, mais dans un effort de réinvention créative d'une vieille manucure, je vous le ramène. Je l'ai utilisé pour une french diagonale, et oui vous pouvez faire un stamping subtil avec (comme vous le voyez sur mon annulaire). Avez-vous essayé Rock Coat? Anselm Reyle for Dior - Metallic Silver 072

Hello Lovelies!
Dior and German artist Anselm Reyle worked together on a limited edition line of make up products, including one dazzling camouflage eye shadow palette and five nail polishes. This camouflage themed collection, was inspired by the artist's abstract work and his use of bright colors. I bought Metallic Silver 072 at a Dior booth in Saks 5th Avenue (I *think this collection was only sold there). I was originally looking for a lipstick but the lady I was talking to was rocking Metallic Silver and I couldn't help but to ask her. The rest is history!
Let me tell you that this pretty applies like butter. What you will see is ONE coat without top coat!

Playing with Dior Rock Coat

Hey lovelies!
I got the Dior Rock Coat a few months ago at Nordstorm but didn't get to play with it until now. It is a sheer black jelly base that comes in a 10ml bottle and is supposed to give an ombre look when applied over a color. I like it but think that you can franken your own easily and cheaper with a couple drops of black polish in a clear base. According to Dior, Rock Coat is "the ultimate smoky topcoat. As a topcoat, its semi-transparent black formula coats varnish with a veil of smoky lacquer, extending wear and increasing shine. Your nail varnish takes on an enigmatic 'rock' look." Well let's see. I layered it over different colors.
