Pink Drips

Good morning y'all, I had the white on white stamping manicure for a moment and was getting tired of it. Does it happen to you too to quickly lose interest in a nail art you did a few days ago? That happens to me all the time lol. Anyway, I took one of my mom's polish and proceeded to do a dripping nail art on my not so old mani. I'm proud of the result as it is the first time I'm trying it. Hope you like it too!  What I used: Mac Cream Steamy over my old manicure

Est-ce qu'il vous arrive aussi de vous ennuyer d'un nail art que vous avez fait il ya quelques jours? Ca m'arrive tout le temps lol. Peu importe, j'ai pris un des vernis de ma maman pour faire un nail art dégoulinant sur ma vieille mani. Rethinking Dior Rock Coat

Last year, I wrote an article on Dior Rock Coat, the ultimate smoky top coat that is supposed to darken any color when applied on it. I liked Rock Coat, but in an effort to creatively reinvent an old manicure, I'm bringing it back. I used it to achieve a side/diagonal french manicure, and yes you can subtly stamp with it (as seen on my ring finger) Have you tried Rock Coat? What I used: Dior Rock Coat, OPI Party In My Cabana, BM 323

L'année dernière, j'ai écrit un article sur Dior Rock Coat, le nec plus ultra des top coats "effet smoky", qui est censé assombrir toute couleur lorsque appliqué sur elle. J'ai bien aimé Rock Coat, mais dans un effort de réinvention créative d'une vieille manucure, je vous le ramène. Je l'ai utilisé pour une french diagonale, et oui vous pouvez faire un stamping subtil avec (comme vous le voyez sur mon annulaire). Avez-vous essayé Rock Coat? Stargazer 309

Hello dolls! Stargazer is a brand I got to try when they released duochromes. It was my bday month in October and I received 309 as a gift. It is a beautiful magenta shimmer with purple reflects. Kind of sheer but it gets fully opaque with 3 coats. I did the little design with BM 02 and Color Club Worth The Risque. Overall I don't have complaints about 309.

Salut mes poupées! Stargazer est une marque que j'ai essayée quand ils ont sorti des duochromes. C'était le mois de mon annif en Octobre et j'ai eu 309 comme cadeau. C'est un magenta aux reflets violet. Il est un peu transparent mais devient complètement opaque avec 3 couches. J'ai fait le petit dessin avec BM 02 et Color Club Worth The Risque. En gros, je n'ai rien à redire sur 309.

Louis Vuitton Nails

Hello ladies! I'm back to my old shape. I got bored of the long rounded nails so I cut it off. I saw this QA39 stamping plate while browsing BPS website and had to buy it. I love Louis Vuitton as a brand and own a few bags so I am really excited to be able to do a nail art inspired by it. The base color of my design is 2 coats of Lady October, a pink holographic franken that was gifted to me by Angela from my bday club and stamped with my white Konad. What do you think of it? Bonjour Mesdames! J'ai encore changé la forme de mes ongles. Les ongles longs arrondis m'ennuyaient donc je les ai coupés. J'ai vu une plaque à stamping QA39 sur le site de BPS. J'aime Louis Vuitton en tant que marque dont je possède quelques sacs alors je suis vraiment ravie de faire un nail art inspiré par elle. La couleur de base de mon design est 2 couches de Lady October, un rose holographique qui m'a été offert par Angela de mon bday club et stampé avec mon vernis blanc Konad. Tip Top Nails Review

Hello! I was greatly surprised when South African nail polish brand Tip Top Nails asked me to review some of their polishes. I said yes (of course) and received 5 polishes in the mail. I like the round shaped 10 ml bottle and the highly pigmented formula of each polish. Good news is these polishes are 4free (of Formaldehyde, Dibutylphthalate (DBP), Toluene and Camphor), opaque in two coats, and dry quickly. I'm impressed. Unfortunately there is no information on prices and shipping that I can share with you so I invite you to contact Tip Top Nails through their website, facebook, or twitter. Now on to the polish! The All-In-One! base coat helps strengthen your nails and prevent staining. Plus I like the fact that it's a nude colored base coat that I can also use alone. Grape To Meet You is a grape pink  with gold shimmer. My mom loved it so much I gave it to her :) We Have An Green-Mint is a fresh lime green that I loved the minute I saw it. It's a very bold color. Jeepers Creepers is a beautiful teal/viridian shimmer that reminds me of the ocean. Chiffon Squares, a silver polish, is my least favorite of the bunch. All swatches are 2 coats with Seche vite.

Salut! J'ai été agréablement surprise quand la marque de vernis Sud Africaine Tip Top Nails m'a demandé d'essayer certains de leurs vernis. J'ai dit oui (bien sûr) et reçu 5 vernis par la poste. J'aime la forme ronde du flacon de 10 ml et la formule très pigmentée de chaque vernis. La bonne nouvelle est que ces vernis sont 4free (du formaldéhyde, de dibutyle (DBP), toluène et camphre), opaque en deux couches et sèche rapidement. Je suis bluffée  Malheureusement, il n'existe aucune information sur les prix et le postage que je peux partager avec vous donc je vous invite à contacter Tip Top Nails sur leur site, facebook, ou twitter. Place aux vernis! La All-In-One! base coat aide à renforcer vos ongles et prévenir les taches. En plus, j'ai bien aimé le fait qu'il s'agit d'une base coat de couleur chair que je peux aussi utiliser seule. Grape To Meet You est un rose raisin avec des reflets or. Ma mère l'a tellement aimé que je le lui ai donné :) We Have An Green-Mint est un vert citron frais que j'ai adoré la minute où je l'ai vu. C'est une couleur osée. Jeepers Creepers est un beau turquoise / vert émeraude chatoyant qui me rappelle l'océan. Chiffon Squares, un vernis argent, est celui que je préfère le moins dans le lot.

OPI Java Mauve-A & Chanel Accent Nail

Hello! I hope you are having a great start of the week. Mine is starting fresh with OPI Java Mauve-A on my nails. I hesitated before buying it because it looked like  a  grandma color. To my surprise, I actually like it. It's going to be one of my favorite office polishes. It's a rich pink/peach with brown undertones that goes well with my skin tone. Application was also perfect and it's opaque in 2 coats. I spiced this manicure up with a Chanel accent nail. Enjoy!

Coucou! J'espère que vous passez un très bon début de semaine. La mienne débute fraîchement avec OPI Java Mauve-A sur mes ongles. J'ai hésité avant de l'acheter parce qu'il ressemblait à une couleur de grand-mère. À ma grande surprise, j'aime bien. Ça va être un de mes vernis préférés de bureau. C'est un rose/pêche riche avec des nuances de marron qui va bien avec mon teint. La pose a été parfaite et il est opaque en 2 couches. J'ai pimenté cette manucure avec un ongle Chanel. Appréciez!

K's Special Fridays #23 - I'm a Princess & Pinky Promise

TGIF! I got two special polishes to show you today but there's one I'm not very fond of so we are going to start with it. I'm A Princess (yep I didn't have any inspiration lol) is a purple to silver duochrome with holo glitter. I just don't like it because it is very sheer even after 4 coats (below). On the opposite, Pinky Promise is opaque in two coats :) Let me know what you think about it and see you next Friday.

Enfin Vendredi! J'ai eu deux vernis spéciaux à vous montrer aujourd'hui, mais il y en a un dont je ne suis pas très fière donc on va commencer avec lui. I'm A Princess (oui j'avais aucune inspiration lol) est un duochrome allant du violet au gris avec des paillettes holographiques. Je ne l'aime pas parce qu'il est pas opaque, même après 4 couches (ci-dessous). A l’opposé  Pinky Promise est opaque en deux couches :) Dites moi ce que vous en pensez et à Vendredi prochain.

Let It Snow Challenge #2 - Inspired by Holiday Movie/Song/Carol

Wow lovelies I missed you! I know it's been a long time since I talked to you but time with family and friends has kept me from blogging, For this holiday season, I wish you moments full of joy, happiness, sharing, and giving with your loved ones. The polish I have on my nails is another creation of mine and inspired by my favorite holiday movie, Love Actually. It is a reddish pink linear holo and the following pics show 2 coats of it with top coat.

Hello lovelies! I did this mani on one of my friends nails last week, and I loved it so much that I decided to copy it. You know none of my friends knew about my blog and my interest in everything nail related and it was a big mistake of me to think that they would judge my hobby. It was the contrary because they totally love it, especially the nail polish parties.

Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness/ Rose pour la sensibilisation au cancer du sein

Hey lovelies! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I’m not a medical expert, but I believe that talking and motivating each others about checking ourselves can help spread the word. Please think about it and talk to your mom, auntie, cousin, niece, friend, colleague, and more importantly you to educate yourself about breast cancer. Men are no exception too. I wanted to share with you this beautiful pink manicure to show my support to all the women and men fighting this disease, and also cheer with the survivors who beat it and give us hope for a cure. Hello Everyone! My name is Heather and I run a blog called I Feel Polished! I'm so happy to be here today! When Karine asked for guest bloggers for her blog, I was really excited and a little nervous because this is my first guest post! So, please go easy on me! :) 

Today I have a bright mani for you guys! When I think of summer, I immediately go to neon polishes. I love having bright color of my nails! I also love nail art and trying out new techniques, so I'm showing you guys my first attempt at the spun sugar technique. If you've never seen or done this before, I highly suggest you look for a video on YouTube. Explaining it would be very difficult but the technique itself is relatively easy. Anyways, enough of me talking, onto the pictures! 

For this manicure I used China Glaze Purple Panic and Pink Voltage. I have HK Girl top coat on, which is similar to Seche Vite, but much better in my opinion! Enjoy and thanks to Karine for letting me take over her blog for a day! :)

Butter London - Disco Biscuit

Hey lovelies!
Welcome a newbie to the Butter London club, thanks to a lovely lady from a swap group I'm part of, I now have Disco Biscuit on my nails and toes :) I'm no stranger to this particular polish as I have seen many online swatches, but you know, it's never the same when you see it in real lol. Disco Biscuit is a hot pink jelly with tiny blue iridescent glitter, which is just the icing on the cake. It applied nicely in 3 coats and dried fast. If in doubt, just stop by your closest Butter London retailer and take a look at the bottle :) I complimented Disco Biscuit with a cobalt blue french tip.

Ludurana - Violet Blue

Good Sunday peeps
I hope you are having a fabulous start of the day. I made plans to go to the Keys and enjoy the nice weather. and I'm wearing Violet Blue from the Ludurana duochrome collection. It's a very delicate pink with purple shimmer by itself (index and middle finger) that also turns into a fierce blue when layered over black or a dark color. Another hit in my book!

Ludurana - Red Pink

Good morning!
Red Pink is another beauty created by Ludurana and part of its duochrome collection. Yes, the beautiful pink with purple shimmer and the deep purple are the same polish! I wore two coats by itself on my index and ring finger and layered one coat over black on the others. I could wear my nails like that I love the versatility and color match of this one. What do you think of it?

Ludurana - Orange Blue

Hey!
Ludurana duochrome goodness on the menu! This is a shade that I like more by itself than layered over black. Orange Blue is a pink champagne (if that exists lol) with blue shimmer. The kind of color I rarely go for, so I'm glad it's included in this duochrome collection. What do you think of it?
