Red & Black Gradient Nail Art

Hello! Today, I have for you a fierce and sexy gradient that was inspired by one of my purses. The gradient trend has expanded to clothing/accessories and I just love how I can translate it easily on my nails. I don't like to wear red polish by itself so I think this gradient is also a way to have sexy nails. As usual, I followed my gradient nails tutorial to achieve this look. What do you think of it? Nails Inc - Holly Hill

Good news girls! I started a new job last week with this sexy tomato red that is Nails Inc Holly Hill. My colleagues are nice and I'm still getting used to my new environment but it's very exciting to open this new chapter of my life. I'm so happy, even though it means no nail art (there's still weekends :p) I won't be blogging as more as before, but I'll still be around. Thanks for sharing my joy and hasta la vista baby!

Mes collègues sont gentil(le)s et je suis en train de m'habituer à mon nouvel environnement, mais c'est très palpitant d' ouvrir ce nouveau chapitre de ma vie. Hello! Just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas full of joy and happiness. Let's also have a thought for the needy in this giving/sharing time/ I am finally trying my 1st Zoyas (yes yes) with 2 coats of Blaze (red scattered holo) as a base and 3 coats of Electra (silver string glitter) on my ring finger. I added a bow stamp and some rhinestones to finish the look.  Hope you like it!

Bonjour! Je voulais juste vous souhaiter un Joyeux Noël plein de joie et de bonheur. Ayons également une pensée pour les nécessiteux dans ce temps de partage. J'ai enfin essayé mes 1er Zoyas (oui oui) avec 2 couches de Blaze (holo dispersé rouge) comme base et 3 couches d'Electra (longues paillettes argentées  sur mon annulaire. J'ai stampé un noeud ajouté des strass pour finir le look. J'espère que vous aimez!

Magnetic nails remixed

Trends come and go. And when they go it’s hard for them to do a come back. I feel bad for my shatter/crackle and magnetic polishes, that I only wore once. I gifted some to my friends and the ones I kept, I wanted to use in a more creative way. This is China Glaze You Move Me (reviewed here) meeting Sation Garnet Red. What do you think of it?

Sation - Garnet Red

Hello! I had to cut my nails very short after one of them broke. And there’s nothing better than a good red polish to compliment short nails. I am wearing Sation Garnet Red, which I bought a long time ago on Nailsupplies US. This polish is shiny, squishy, dried quickly, and it’s a jelly! I used two coats and one coat of Seche vite.

Coucou! J'ai dû me couper les ongles très court vu que l'un d'eux s’est cassé. Et il n'y a rien de mieux qu'un bon vernis rouge pour complimenter les ongles courts. J’ai sur mes ongles Sation Garnet Red que j'ai acheté il ya longtemps sur Nailsupplies US. Ce vernis brille, est en même temps gélatineux au regard, sèche rapidement, et c'est un jelly! J'ai mis deux couches et une couche de Seche Vite.

OPI - Vodka & Caviar and gold tips

Hello! OPI Vodka & Caviar is one of my favorites reds. First I love OPI's nail polish brushes and their jelly formula is always spot on. This beauty is opaque in 2 coats and the finish so shiny you might not want to add top coat. This is the kind of colors that will always make you feel like a queen. I complimented this true red with a gold French tip done with China Glaze Passion. How do you like it? I have read that it is now discontinued so if you know of any dupes, please share! See you

D’abord j'aime les pinceaux des vernis OPI et leur formule jelly est toujours réussie  Cette beauté est opaque en 2 couches et la finition est si brillante que vous ne voudrez pas ajouter de top coat. C'est le genre de couleurs qui vous feront toujours sentir comme une reine. J'ai complimenté ce rouge vif avec une French manucure dorée faite avec China Glaze Passion. Ça vous plaît? OPI - Black Spotted

Hello lovelies!
I got my hands on the precious OPI Black Spotted, thanks to a nail polish friend who sent it to me from France. As you know it was exclusively released as part of the Spiderman collection  in Sephora France. I like it better than the crackle effect. I layered one coat over China Glaze Ruby Pumps and you can notice that it's a learning curve. I have seen many girls complaining about it, it's all about the application, which is very tricky, you just need to wait for your base coat to be dry and apply a super duper really thin coat. I have also seen some complaints about Black Spotted peeling off when you apply a top coat over it. I did apply one coat of Seche Vite and didn't have any issues.

Spoiled - Ants In My Pants

Hello lovelies!
I have for you a wonderful polish by Spoiled. I was first attracted by the blackened base and red glitter, it really stood out in the rack. As soon as I saw the name, I had to have it. I love ants, they are fascinating insects, and my readings of author Bernard Werber, who described their life cycle in a thrilling science fiction trilogy (Empire of the Ants, The Day of The Ants, The Revolution of the Ants) didn't help lol.
I wore one coat of Ants In My Pants over China Glaze Ruby Pumps. Wow!

This is another nail art coming out of nowhere. I just used different nail art striping polishes over two coats of OPI Warm And Fozzie. It's easy and you can experience it with different colors, hope you like it!

Black Roses' Bed - Tutorial

Good morning!
I always wanted to freehand a rose nail art but always procrastinated and ran to my stamping plates, but now it's no more in my to do list :) The dress I am wearing today inspired me to do this black roses manicure. I love how it came out. I only used a dotting tool but next time I'll try a fine nail art brush. Let me know what you think about it!

Lazy Days Of Summer # 3 - Flag Day

Happy 4th of July everyone!
The third theme of the summer challenge I'm taking part in is Flag Day. I have a day full of activities for the national American holiday. I decided to do a sponged gradient manicure with Nails Inc Baker Street, Sally Hansen White On and Rapid Red, then I stamped over it with Sally Hansen Silver Sweep and BM14 (from the first Bundle Monster plates set). Love the result and especially seeing all those patriotic manicures :) Have a good time and a safe holiday!

Let's go Miami Heat!

Hello again!

Today is game day! I live in Miami so I totally had to represent my team in Game 5 (and I hope the last game) of the 2012 NBA Finals. The Miami Heat will be going against the Oklahoma City Thunders and we are leading the series 3-1. Today will be crazy in the city and I'll be out to experience it. So yeah this nail art is my way of supporting my team. Let's go Heat! I'm glad of the result, not too bad for something I free handed.

Cacee BFF - Pixie

Good morning!
I hope you are having a good start of the day. I just can't wait for the week end to go out a little and my nails translate that lol. I have another Cacee BFF polish and this one is a silver scattered holo! Pixie is sheer enough to be a top coat but can also get to full opacity with three coats. As experienced before with Lucy another Cacee holographic that I have, the finish is grainy, so you need to add a top coat. Not a problem because I use it with almost every polish :) On to the pics!

Jade Holographic - Vermelho Surreal

Morning!
I'm sure most of you already know about Jade, the new Brazilian brand making waves since the recent release of its collection of holographic nail polishes. You know me I had to snag one and try it! I received Vermelho Surreal as a gift from the lovely Tami from Brazil. It is one of the 10 gems part of the Jade Holográficos collection, and is a fiery red which wears well its name. It's surreal! This is a true red holo, unique and in the range of Glitter Gal Code Red. It was opaque in two coats, applied nicely, and dried fast. I added one coat of Seche vite, which did not dull the holo effect. I just love it when I don't need to have a special base or do tricks when I wear my holos. I actually don't use any special aqua base except with Gosh and Layla holographics. Enough bla bla bla, on to the pics!

Hits - Unconventional

Hello again!
Wow I have a gem for you today! The polish I'm wearing today is called Unconventional and is one of the eight multichromes part of the Mari Moon collection. This masterpiece was designed by Hits Speciallita, the genius behind the No Olimpo holographics. The collection comes in two sets, but you can buy it individually. Unconventional is part of the Unique set, the second set is Modern. I went with two coats without top coat. This is the sexiest multichrome ever and my favorite of the Mari Moons. I see copper, red, burgundy, violet, and blue. I'm not a fan of the formula, but it's not a big deal. On to the pics!

Phew I was expecting a disaster with this manicure, but I somehow managed to avoid it. I have a nail art bucket list and decided to do more of those, so I picked the corset manicure for today's nails. I love how versatile this look is because it can work with any base, and it does add a sexy look. On to the pics!
