China Glaze - Deviantly Daring
Hello!
I received this polish as a gift from my bday club. It's not that bad. Deviantly Daring is teal/turquoise to green duochrome with a metallic finish. I have no complaint on the formula. It went on nicely and was opaque in 2 coats, topped with Seche vite. On to the pics! |
Salut!

Flakies Nail Art
Good morning!
I initially wanted to wear a polish but ended up with nail art because I was kind of disappointed with it. I started with 2 coats of OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow. It's a great color when you look at the bottle, a dark army green creme. But it it so dark on my nails that it looks like black. I also didn't like the formula, which I found runny. Since I wasn't happy with my mani, I added 2 coats of Finger Paints Motley, a clear base with green, turquoise, and blue flakes. I finished the design with a silver liner. I just love happy endings like that. Thanks for reading! |
Bonjour!

Stargazer 304
Hello my dears!
I have surprisingly grown into a blue polish lover, it cools me down but still has enough edginess so I won't be bored by it. The polish I have for you is Stargazer 304, one of my bday club gift. The ladies spoiled me so keep an eye for very unique polishes swatches! 304 is a turquoise to blue duochrome with gold and green shimmer in it. I really think it's too beautiful not to have a better name. The application was flawless, it is opaque in 2 coats and has an amazing finish with lot of brightness. It's a statement color, my mom noticed my nails from far. Since this polish reminds me of the ocean, I took my Konad m27 and Sally Hansen Silver Sweep to stamp little fishes. What do you think of it? Thanks for reading! |

K's Special Fridays #21 - Océane
Hello ladies,
K's Special Fridays are back with a polish that I already wore as a base for nail art but I also wanted it to have its own spotlight. You know I started this serie because I wanted to share polish recipes with you, but time has flown and I don't remember the recipes of the upcoming posts. I used to do them the same day and write the post and I didnt think of keeping a recipe book. I present to you Océane, a turquoise holo packed with holographic glitter. It was opaque in 3 coats and dried a little gritty so I added top coat for a smooth finish. Hope you like it ! |

Polish Days - Bling Bling
Hello,
I am so happy to share with you this bling bling manicure inspired by this month's Polish Days theme. December is my favorite time of the year, celebrating with loved ones, giving around us, everything around sparkle and there are christmas lights everywhere. I just love the spirit of it and wanted my manicure to reflect it. The base is a creation of mine named Oceane, a turquoise holographic jelly with holo glitter, then I added rhinestones. I hope you like it and please scroll down to see all the blingtastic manicures of the ladies taking part in this Polish Days. Thanks for reading and happy holidays! |

Ludurana - Green Gold
Hello lovelies!
We continue with another day of Ludurana goodness. Green Gold is a metallic turquoise, I find the name kind of weird for the shade. It was opaque in two coats but the formula was kind of runny. As you can see, there's no drastic change between wearing it by itself and layering it over black. On to the pics!

Hits - Daring
Hello!
Another pretty multichrome from the Hits Mari Moon collection on the menu! This one is part of the Unique set. It flashes from purple, blue, teal, to green. The formula was better and built easily in three coats. I like it a lot, it's another unique shade that I don't have in my stash. On to the pics!
All swatches are without top coat.

Ludurana - Show (pics heavy)
Hello again!
Show is a beautiful multichrome from the Brazilian brand Ludurana and is part of the Aurora Boreal collection. Most of the Ludurana polishes come in a 8ml bottle, but they are very pigmented so there is no need to layer them over a black polish. I bought it on Ninja Polish and don't regret my choice! It flashes from orange to green to turquoise to blue to pink to purple (yes all those colors!). It is so beautifuuuul and smells so good that you won't want to remove it lol
All swatches show three coats of Show without top coat

Soflajo - Guardian of the Lake
I'm super excited about today's post because I will be showing you a beautiful polish created by the lovely Jody at Soflajo. Jody and I met a couple months ago for a funny and crazy day of dusty hunting and she brought me a super cute gift from one of her collections. We had so much fun (between joking with vendors, and getting free polish lol) that I keep great memories of this day.
Guardian of the Lake is a color changing top coat that shifts from turquoise to blue to violet, and it has glitter! It is one of the eight polishes that Jody created for her "Year of the Dragon" collection. I layered it over Illamasqua Phallic and wow! It's the first time that I'm seeing a multichrome with glitter I like it a lot! Enjoy.
All swatches show one coat of Guardian of the Lake over Phallic, topped with Seche vite.

Naïade (pics heavy)
Good afternoon peeps :-)
First of all I want to say thank you all for showing so much support to my page, my blog, and my creations. I woke up this morning with a big smile to see that I had more than 100 readers :-) and over 1,000 page views! I hope that you enjoy these polishes as much as I loved making them. I have a giveaway going on to celebrate and you can enter here.
Now on to another sunny day of flakies and glitter goodness. You voted and asked to see Naïade, and there it is! Naïade is a turquoise/aquamarine jelly with opalescent flakies and glitter. The name comes from the Greek νάειν and νἃμα which means flowing water (in Greek mythology, Naiads are water nymphs). It is so versatile and sometimes flashes light tints of green under the sun. I tried to have the color as accurate as in real. Enjoy!
Three coats of Naïade and two coats of Seche vite - Artificial light
