Hello!
Today, I have for you a fierce and sexy gradient that was inspired by one of my purses. The gradient trend has expanded to clothing/accessories and I just love how I can translate it easily on my nails. I don't like to wear red polish by itself so I think this gradient is also a way to have sexy nails. As usual, I followed my gradient nails tutorial to achieve this look. What do you think of it?
What I used: OPI Big Apple Red, Wet N Wild Black Creme, Zoya Ziv |
Salut!

Matte vs Glossy French Manicure
Hey lovelies!
As I told you before, I started a new job and I'm restricting myself to plain nail polish shades, and it's boring lol. So I decided to find ways to spice my manicures up without getting into nail art. I had always wanted to try the matte/glossy trend and I used Essie Matte About You, Wet N Wild Black Creme, and Seche vite. What do you think of it? |
J'ai toujours eu envie d'essayer la tendance mat /brillant alors j'ai utilisé Essie Matte About You, Wet N Wild Noir Creme, et Seche Vite. Qu'en pensez-vous? |

Feather Nail Art
Hi lovelies! I finally received some synthetic feathers I bought on Born Pretty Store and I'm sorry to only give you an accent nail. I watched online tutorials and it looked so easy to apply them on the nail, but my case was more difficult. First I couldn't figure out how to cut the feathers without loosing all of them. Second I was expecting them to be less thick. I won't accept defeat and will try again soon. If you have any tips, please share :) The base is NYC Sidewalkers, a concrete grey that wears its name well and covers nails in 2 coats. Thanks for reading! |

Wet N Wild - Night Prowl
Hello!
I closed my eyes and picked up this polish from my untrieds. It is Wet N Wild Night Prowl, a blackened purple with small purple glitter. It is opaque in 2 coats and looks almost black but it's not. I like the quality especially that I got it for 99 cents at Walgreens. I hadn't used my plates in a while so I did some stamping with Kleancolor Metallic Fuchsia and BM01. The result is really subtle and elegant. What do you think of it? |
Coucou!

Gold and Black Abstract nails
Hello!
I hope you are having a nice day. Mine is kind of boring so I put a special polish to cheer me up. I had received Layla Softouch 02 as a bday club gift. It's opaque in two coats and covers your nail with a glittery gold. The beauty of this polish is in its finish: it dries very fast with a matte/soft/non-glossy finish. I also did a saran nail art with Wet N Wild Black Creme on my ring finger. So have you tried the softouch effect? What do you think of it? Thanks for reading! |
Coucou!

Black polish comparison
Hello!
Do you wear black polish? If yes you probably want one that is opaque in one coat and dries super fast. These are the two minimum criteria I look at. Let’s compare these five polishes: Wet N Wild Black Creme, Sally Hansen Black Out, Wet N Wild Ebony Hates Chris, Nabi Black, and Sation Black. |
Bonjour!
Comparons ces 5 vernis: Wet N Wild Black Creme, Sally Hansen Black Out, Wet N Wild Ebony Hates Chris, Nabi Black, and Sation Black. |

Black Roses' Bed - Tutorial
Good morning!
I always wanted to freehand a rose nail art but always procrastinated and ran to my stamping plates, but now it's no more in my to do list :) The dress I am wearing today inspired me to do this black roses manicure. I love how it came out. I only used a dotting tool but next time I'll try a fine nail art brush. Let me know what you think about it!

Leopard tape manicure- Tutorial
Hello!
I received some stripping tape so I decided to play with it. It's the second time I'm using it and I still have to get a hang of it. I wanted to do a holographic tape manicure, but it's raining today :( So I got two polishes received in a swap and let my creativity do the rest. On to the pics!

Ludurana - Fascinante (pics heavy)
Hello again!
My favorite multichrome is Ludurana Fascinante. It wears its name pretty well ! This polish just reminds me of a beautiful sunset, I love it!. I will repeat myself but I am amazed at the quality of all the Brazilian polishes I own and I'm so lucky and thankful to the nail blogging community for that! discovering new brands and creating lemmings lol! I got this one from Llarowe and wore three coats by itself without top coat.

Ludurana - Emocionante (pics heavy)
Hello!
I bought this beauty on Llarowe back in November 2011, it was my first multichrome polish and this is the second time I'm wearing it :) Emocionante is part of the Ludurana Aurora Boreal collection and the color shift is amazing : from gold to copper to purple to blue! I wore it by itself and it was opaque in three coats with a glossy finish, so no need for top coat :) Oh yeah this collection of multichromes is scented :) How thoughtful is that? On to the pics!

Ludurana - Reluz (pics heavy)
Hey!
Reluz is another multichrome part of the Ludurana Aurora Boreal collection that I bought from Ninja Polish. It's a small 8ml bottle but it's worth every drop of lacquer because the color shift is just indescribable! It flashes from green to copper to purple to blue and applies like a dream. It only takes two coats, but I went with three and did not apply any top coat because the finish is so glossy. On to the pics!

Ludurana - Show (pics heavy)
Hello again!
Show is a beautiful multichrome from the Brazilian brand Ludurana and is part of the Aurora Boreal collection. Most of the Ludurana polishes come in a 8ml bottle, but they are very pigmented so there is no need to layer them over a black polish. I bought it on Ninja Polish and don't regret my choice! It flashes from orange to green to turquoise to blue to pink to purple (yes all those colors!). It is so beautifuuuul and smells so good that you won't want to remove it lol
All swatches show three coats of Show without top coat

ASBMF #6: Ombre
Hello!
Today, I have for you an ombre mani as it is the sixth theme of the April showers bring May flowers challenge. This will be my first ombre manicure and it was quite easy to do. You just have to pick a color (pink for me) and choose different shades/tones of that color that will make a gradient from one nail to another. It's also a great way to go through your untrieds or help you decide between different shades. I used two coats of the following polishes and one coat of Seche vite. From left to right: Wet N Wild Lady luck, Wet N Wild Dreamy poppy, Barry M Pink flamingo, and Wet N Wild Tickled pink

K's Special Fridays #2 - Blanche Neige
Evening y'all :-)
Today's post is a little bit late and I apologize in advance for the crappy pics that I took like 5 mn ago. Last week, I showed you Black Galaxy a black holographic franken made with spectraflair. Today, I have for you Blanche Neige, a white jelly with fine silver and holographic glitter. I'm not a fan of white polishes (unless I'm using it as a base) so I decided to cheer up one of those by mixing it with Wet N Wild Kaleidoscope and some nail art glitter. I'm pretty happy with the results, I can layer it over bright colors and it is fully opaque in three coats (but you can get away with two).
Name: Blanche Neige (Snow White) - if you noticed most of my polishes names are/will be in French because it is my first language - when in doubt ask me or google :-)
Recipe: Wet N Wild Kaleidoscope + 20 drops of Wet N Wild French White Creme + Silver nail art glitter (sorry I don't remember the name)
Enjoy and see you later for part 1 of the Up Colors holographic swatches :-)

Introducing K's Special Fridays #1 - Black Galaxy
It's me again peeps! I'm bringing to you K's Special Fridays, where every Friday now and then, I will share one franken recipe. The frankens featured in this special post edition are for my personal use and are not for sale. I will be as specific as possible, so you can easily reproduce the same recipe :-)
Here is Black Galaxy! I made this franken to satisfy a lemming of mine: Glitter Gal black. It is not as holo as the original, but I am pretty satisfied with the results. You can also see Black Glaxy in Shatter me Claire's FrankenMarch contest and drop me a little vote :-) All the entries are awesome, go take a look! You can also vote for my Black Galaxy entry as a bonus in my giveaway. Thank you!
On to the pic, what do you think of it?
