Fiery Matte Flakies

Hey there! I haven't worn flakies in a long time so I decided to dust them off and use it for todays' mani. My matte top coat has also been sitting in my nail polish rack for some time, and we all know that flakies + matte is a winning combo. I feel like my nails are on fire, love the rocky look. Mon top coat effet mat patientait gentiment dans mon armoire à vernis, et on sait toutes que flakies + mat c'est une combination gagnante. Sally Hansen - Lightning Yellow

Hey Ladies! Sally Hansen Lightning Yellow is a polish I bought for stamping purposes and decided to wear it today. It is a super bright yellow that is suitable for people like me who dare to wear bold colors. I needed 2 coats for full opacity with an electrifying look. It dries really fast and has a thick formula. I saw people complaining about the thickness of the formula but I hate streaky and thin yellow polishes that need 4 coats to be opaque. That's why I like Lightning Yellow. In addition, the wide brush allowed me to cover my nails in 2 strokes. It is summer all year here, so I will definitely wear it more often! Hey les filles! Sally Hansen Lightning Yellow est un vernis que j'ai acheté pour faire du stamping et décidé de porter aujourd'hui. C'est un jaune super vif  qui est parfait pour les gens comme moi qui osent porter des couleurs flashy. Il m'a fallu 2 couches pour une opacité complète avec un look électrisant. Il sèche très vite et a une formule épaisse. J'ai vu des gens se plaindre de l'épaisseur de la formule, mais j'ai horreur des vernis jaunes peu épais qui ont besoin de 4 couches pour être opaque. C'est pour ça que j'aime Lightning Yellow. En plus, le pinceau large m'a permis de couvrir mes ongles en 2 temps. C'est l'été toute l'année ici, donc je vais certainement le porter plus souvent! Fall Into Autumn Challenge #5 - Football

How are you lovely reader?
I did something very different for this theme. I had no football team to cheer for, so I did a soccer inspired manicure. I love soccer as a sport - I went to my first game at the national stadium a few weeks ago and it was a one in a lifetime experience - and as a francophone I sometimes think about soccer first when someone says football. I used one coat of Sally Hansen Lickety-Split Lime, then added NYC French White Tip, before stamping with Sally Hansen Black Out and Bundle Monster BM17. I did the little soccer ball with a sharpie. I'm very satisfied of the result, what do you think of it?

Fall Into Autumn Challenge #4 - Cloudy Days

Good morning lovelies!
This theme is right on time as the weather has been cloudy for almost a month. It's rain rain rain and I can't wait for the sun to come back. I also have always wanted to try the "clouds nail art technique" so it was right on point! I have to say that I'm happy of the result, which was very easy to achieve. I started with one coat of Sally Hansen Black Out, followed by NYC Prince Street and Side Walkers. How do you like it?

Fall Into Autumn Challenge #3 - School Spirit

Hello!

I know it's been a little time but I am glad to be back with a mani inspired by the 3rd theme of the Fall Into Autumn challenge, I named "School Spirit". I am done with university but I have great memories of all the football and basketball games I went to while I was in FIU. Tee shirts, mugs, pens, folders, you name it I have it! We are the panthers and our colors are blue and gold. I went the easy route with an animal print nail art. The base is two coats of Spoiled Pirate's Booty (??) and I used Sally Hansen Co-bolt Blue with a dotting tool. Enjoy and thanks for reading!

Watermarble or Stamp?

If you like stamping and don't know Bundle Monster, then you better head quickly to their website and browse their stamping sets. I own all of them but have a slight preference for the 3rd set because of the genius of the designs. I already posted about the shatter/crackle and gradient stamping effects, and today they make watermarble a breeze with BM 320. I hate watermarbling, I tried so many times and never got it right. No need anymore! See for yourself.
I stamped with Sally Hansen Cobalt Blue over Layla Jade Groove.
