Sally Hansen - Lightning Yellow

Hey Ladies!
Sally Hansen Lightning Yellow is a polish I bought for stamping purposes and decided to wear it today. It is a super bright yellow that is suitable for people like me who dare to wear bold colors. I needed 2 coats for full opacity with an electrifying look. It dries really fast and has a thick formula. I saw people complaining about the thickness of the formula but I hate streaky and thin yellow polishes that need 4 coats to be opaque. That's why I like Lightning Yellow. In addition, the wide brush allowed me to cover my nails in 2 strokes. It is summer all year here, so I will definitely wear it more often! Do you have this polish? What do you think of it?
Thanks for reading and have a good beginning of the week.

Ludurana - Magenta Gold

Morning lovelies!
Well I didn't really want to sheer (share) this one because I hate how the base looks by itself. Magenta gold is a yellow with pink shimmer when worn by itself and a deep purple with fine gold particles when layered over black. I will never wear it by itself, maybe I'll use it as an enhancement on my yellows to have that pink shimmer. What do you think of this one?

Stripes!

Hello!
This is another nail art coming out of nowhere. I just used different nail art striping polishes over two coats of OPI Warm And Fozzie. It's easy and you can experience it with different colors, hope you like it!

Let's go Miami Heat!

Hello again!
Today is game day! I live in Miami so I totally had to represent my team in Game 5 (and I hope the last game) of the 2012 NBA Finals. The Miami Heat will be going against the Oklahoma City Thunders and we are leading the series 3-1. Today will be crazy in the city and I'll be out to experience it. So yeah this nail art is my way of supporting my team. Let's go Heat! I'm glad of the result, not too bad for something I free handed.

Top Beauty - Dia e Noite

Hello!
I have a special polish to show you today. Well it's new to me. I received this Photochromic polish, meaning that it changes color depending if you are exposing them under the sun or not. It's from the brand Top Beauty and wear wells its name Dia e Noite (Day and Night). It shows white at night and under the shade and changes to a light sky blue shade under sun lights. Nail art does not affect the base, you can add glitter, holo top coat, stamp over it, sponge etc... I was eager to see how Dia e Noite will play so I went with three coats and I stamped with BM 222, Sally Hansen Insta Dry Lightening and Brisk Blue. On to the pics!

Let's smile today!

It's Sunday peeps!
Sending you a lot of love and positive vibes, especially to those going through hard times! I don't know why, but I woke up very thankful. Thankful for the life that I have, for waking up in good health everyday, for having a loving and supporting family. We take many things for granted and the nail polish world can be cutthroat at times. I have a mani that reflects my mood today, but that also says that there's hope that everything will be okay. I hope you like it!
I used three coats of Cacee BFF Summer. I like it because it's not the kind of in-your-face neon yellow. I did the eyes with a dotting tool and the smiles with a black nail art stripper :)

Ludurana - Fascinante (pics heavy)

Hello again!
My favorite multichrome is Ludurana Fascinante. It wears its name pretty well ! This polish just reminds me of a beautiful sunset, I love it!. I will repeat myself but I am amazed at the quality of all the Brazilian polishes I own and I'm so lucky and thankful to the nail blogging community for that! discovering new brands and creating lemmings lol! I got this one from Llarowe and wore three coats by itself without top coat.

Ludurana - Reluz (pics heavy)

Hey!
Reluz is another multichrome part of the Ludurana Aurora Boreal collection that I bought from Ninja Polish. It's a small 8ml bottle but it's worth every drop of lacquer because the color shift is just indescribable! It flashes from green to copper to purple to blue and applies like a dream. It only takes two coats, but I went with three and did not apply any top coat because the finish is so glossy. On to the pics!

ASBMF #11: Eggs and Chicks

Hello!
I had a lot of fun doing this theme because I wanted my chicks to have facial expressions! I had never done this type of nail art before so please forgive my beginner skills! I started with three coats of Icing Lemon Cello On The Rocks (lol what a name), then used China Glaze Moonlight an a dotting tool to design the broken egg shells. I used OPI Bronzed to Perfection for the nose and OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys for the eyebrows. Enjoy!
All pictures were taken in an artificial light setting without flash.

Mine d'Or

Hello!

The 10 days swatches of flakies and glitter goodness comes to an end with the last polish of the Birthday club collection. I present to you Mine d'Or (Gold Mine) an orange-goldish (yes I just invented that lol) yellow jelly with opalescent flakies and glitter. It is so sparkly indoors and show its true preciousness when the sun light reflects on the flakies and glitter! Let me know what you think of this one :-) I have been very happy to share my creations with all of you. Thank you so much and don't forget to mark April 1st on your calendar, which is the official date when I will start accepting orders.  I will also keep you updated with more details on how to order. And more bloggers' reviews to come! And on to the pics!
