White & Gold French Manicure

Hello! I have a really simple nail art to show you today. See, I wanted to do a Christmas inspired nail art but everything I attempted turned out bad. Anyway this is what I came up with, I like it it's so elegant and feminine. Big kisses and have a good day.

Gold & White Stamping

Hello, White and gold has always been one of my favorite color marriage. Talking about clothing, accessories, interior design, etc... white and gold go well together. I wanted to try this combination on my nails so I wore 2 coats of China Glaze Moonlight, then stamped on top of it with China Glaze Passion. What do you think of it? The pics don't do it justice, it is so pretty!

Bonjour, Le Blanc et or a toujours été un mariage de couleurs que j'adore. En terme de vêtements, accessoires, déco d'intérieur, etc... le blanc et or vont bien ensemble. Je voulais essayer cette combinaison sur mes ongles alors j'ai mis 2 couches de China Glaze Moonlight, ensuite j'ai stampé dessus avec China Glaze Passion. Qu'en pensez-vous? Les photos ne rendent pas justice, c'est tellement joli!

Chevron Nail Art

China Glaze - Ghoulish Glow

This is by far the hardest polish to photograph EVER! Like seriously I have had this polish for more than a year and wore it numerous times for girls night out, but I continuously failed at taking a picture of it. I googled and read many tutorials on how to photograph glow in the dark objects and still nothing. My camera didn't work, nor my S3 or Ipad. I was about to throw the towel when I tried my bother's Iphone. Finally!!! What I used: China Glaze Ghoulish Glow

Ce vernis est de loin le plus difficile à photographier! Sérieusement, j'ai ce vernis depuis plus d'un an et je l'ai porté plusieurs fois pour des sorties entre copines, mais j'ai toujours du mal à le prendre en photo. J'ai googlé et lu de nombreux tutoriels sur comment photographier des objets fluorescents et toujours rien. Rien avec mon appareil photo, ni mon S3 ou iPad. Polish Days - Vintage

Morning beautiful! When I hear vintage, I think about black and white pictures in family albums, but also the gold and glamour 1920s era. I wanted my mani to be inspired by these 3 colors in today's Polish Days theme. I also wanted to celebrate my blog anniversary with something bold. I used OPI Alpine Snow, Konad Black with BM 318, topped with OPI The Man With The Golden Gun to achieve this look. On to the pics!

Salut mes beautés! Quand j'entends vintage, je pense aux photos en blanc et noir des albums de famille, mais aussi à l'ère d'or et glamour des années 1920. Je voulais que ma manucure soit inspirée de ces 3 couleurs en l'honneur du thème d'aujourd'hui de Polish Days. Je voulais aussi célébrer l'anniversaire de mon blog en grandes pompes. J'ai utilisé OPI Alpine Snow, Konad Black avec BM 318, surmonté de OPI The Man With The Golden Gun pour obtenir ce look. Louis Vuitton Nails

Hello ladies! I'm back to my old shape. I got bored of the long rounded nails so I cut it off. I saw this QA39 stamping plate while browsing BPS website and had to buy it. I love Louis Vuitton as a brand and own a few bags so I am really excited to be able to do a nail art inspired by it. The base color of my design is 2 coats of Lady October, a pink holographic franken that was gifted to me by Angela from my bday club and stamped with my white Konad. What do you think of it? Bonjour Mesdames! J'ai encore changé la forme de mes ongles. Les ongles longs arrondis m'ennuyaient donc je les ai coupés. J'ai vu une plaque à stamping QA39 sur le site de BPS. J'aime Louis Vuitton en tant que marque dont je possède quelques sacs alors je suis vraiment ravie de faire un nail art inspiré par elle. La couleur de base de mon design est 2 couches de Lady October, un rose holographique qui m'a été offert par Angela de mon bday club et stampé avec mon vernis blanc Konad. Black and white stamping polishes comparison

Wassup ladies, When I got into stamping, the only thing that made the difference was the polish, not the stamper, scrapper, or plate. I remember I wanted a nice black and white stamping polishes, and all my findings suggested Konad. Well I caved in and bought 3 Konad polishes (black, red, and white) but today I am comparing mainstream brands that are easily available and good for stamping.

Wassup ladies, Quand j’ai commencé le stamping, la seule chose qui faisait la différence était le vernis, pas le tampon, scrapper, ou la plaque. Je me rappelle que je voulais des vernis stamping en noir et blanc, et toutes mes recherches suggéraient Konad. Eh bien, j’ai cédé et acheté 3 vernis Konad (noir, rouge, et blanc) mais aujourd'hui, je compare les marques grand public qui sont facilement disponibles et bonnes pour le stamping.

If I have to stamp over it or add layers of other colors, my white polish better be opaque in one coat and dry fast. Let’s look at OPI Alpine Snow, Sation Snow White, NYC French White Creme, Sally Hansen White On , and China Glaze Moonlight.

Si je dois stamper dessus ou ajouter des couches d'autres couleurs, vaut mieux que mon vernis blanc soit opaque en une seule couche et sèche rapidement. Barry M Cobalt Blue ft Cover Band Sticks N Stones

Blue lover stop here! First I'm slowing a bit on nail art to appreciate plain colors. I will try to wear them alone for a day or two before spicing them up. I have on my nails Cobalt Blue by Barry M. The formula and brush size makes it easy to apply the polish. You get full coverage in one coat but I went with two. Cobalt Blue dries quickly, it's an amazing blue creme that you can wear all year. I love it as much as Nails Inc Baker Street (my ultimate blue) This is 2 coats of Cobalt Blue without top coat. Haha I'm glad that my friend Aimee in the UK gifted it to me.

Amoureuse de bleu viens par ici! D'abord, je vais ralentir le nail art pour apprécier les couleurs unies. Je vais essayer de les porter seules pendant un jour ou deux avant de les épicer avec du nail art. J'ai sur mes ongles Cobalt Blue de Barry M. Avec la formule et la taille du pinceau, c’est facile de mettre le vernis. Vous obtenez une couverture complète en une seule couche, même si j’en ai fait deux. Cobalt Blue  sèche rapidement, c’est un bleu crème étonnant que vous pouvez porter toute l'année. Je l'aime autant que Nails Inc Baker Street (mon ultime bleu) J’ai mis 2 couches de Cobalt Blue sans top coat. Haha, je suis contente qu’Aimée mon amie en Angleterre me l’ai offert en cadeau.

Gradient nails tuto

Hello! Some of you requested a long time ago a gradient tutorial. I did it but I'm so sorry to only post it now. I hope the ease of it will make you want to try! It's the technique that I  use for all my gradients. A gradient is a mix of colors that fade into each other. Not to be confused with ombre or skittles.

Hey lovelies! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I’m not a medical expert, but I believe that talking and motivating each others about checking ourselves can help spread the word. Please think about it and talk to your mom, auntie, cousin, niece, friend, colleague, and more importantly you to educate yourself about breast cancer. Men are no exception too. I wanted to share with you this beautiful pink manicure to show my support to all the women and men fighting this disease, and also cheer with the survivors who beat it and give us hope for a cure. Fall Into Autumn Challenge #5 - Football

How are you lovely reader?
I did something very different for this theme. I had no football team to cheer for, so I did a soccer inspired manicure. I love soccer as a sport - I went to my first game at the national stadium a few weeks ago and it was a one in a lifetime experience - and as a francophone I sometimes think about soccer first when someone says football. I used one coat of Sally Hansen Lickety-Split Lime, then added NYC French White Tip, before stamping with Sally Hansen Black Out and Bundle Monster BM17. I did the little soccer ball with a sharpie. I'm very satisfied of the result, what do you think of it?

Fall Into Autumn Challenge #1 - Back To School

Hello lovelies!
First I want to apologize to my avid readers for my lack of posts. I have moved from the US back to my country in August and I have been soooo busy since I have been back that my blog took a hit. I won't write like before (one to two posts a day) but I'll still be around. Ok back to business lol I am back with another nail art challenge, designed by all the ladies who took part in the Lazy Days of Summer. Polish Days - Geometry

Well today is the fourth theme of Polish Days, which is a day where nail bloggers all over the world post about a single theme, at the same time. Today's theme is geometry, not my favorite class but I had fun translating it into nail art. I went simply with my favorite geometric figure, the circle. Black Roses' Bed - Tutorial

Good morning!
I always wanted to freehand a rose nail art but always procrastinated and ran to my stamping plates, but now it's no more in my to do list :) The dress I am wearing today inspired me to do this black roses manicure. I love how it came out. I only used a dotting tool but next time I'll try a fine nail art brush. Let me know what you think about it!
