Matte & Studs

Hey there!
Since the launch of the "matte effect" top coats/polishes, I found myself kind of lost on being creative with it. A matte top coat only has one purpose: mattify the polish it's applied on. I tried stamping with Essie Matte About You and it didn't work. I looked for inspiration on Pinterest and mostly saw two trends :

1. simple matte vs glossy nail art (dotticure, french, stamping etc)
2. elaborate nail art with a mattified finish

I went out of the box and chose to do a matte base with a creme stamping, sans top coat. I apologize in advance for the blurry pictures that makes it difficult to see the difference in textures. One word of advice for the Seche Vite afficionadas: be patient when doing matte/cream nail art and let your polish fully dry. You wouldn't want to ruin your work lol

I hope you like it and wish you a good week!

What I used :

* BM stamping plate
* BM square studs

Coucou!

1. simple nail art mat vs brillant (dotticure, french, stamping, etc.)
