Hi guys! My name is Alyssa and I write at Fancy Phalanges. Karine asked for guest posters and I happily volunteered. I love her blog (especially this mani) and am so excited to write for it today :)

I decided to do a vertical gradient with some of the China Glaze Summer Neons. I bought 10 of the 12 of the collection because they were just so fabulous! From thumb to pinky is Hang Ten-Toes, Love's a Beach, Surfin' for Boys, Flirty Tankini, Orange You Hot?, Sun Kissed, I'm With the Lifeguard, Splish Splash and Beach Cruise-r. I used a cosmetic wedge sponge and painted lines then sponged over a base of Sally Hansen Whirlwind White. I topped with my favorite topcoat, Seche Vite.

My favorite nails are definitely the index and middle. They just stand out and I love how the colors work together. The rest blended well, but the colors are so similar that it's kind of boring.
